On every project there is a song that is the surprise favorite.
I have never once been able to accurately guess the song that is going to break out on an album and that was true about "HVN" too.
Intermission 3 was almost not on the project at all.
It came about during a time where I was having writers block I didn't quite know if I should be done or not.
I didn't know what to do or how to feel about this project or my life at all.
So I did what I had always done in those moments, I just started writing.
I let myself go without thinking about industry or record sales or anything like that...I just let myself speak.
I don't think I have ever been so incredibly vulnerable in a song before
But I am glad that I was because I think it turned this project into something more than just a collection of songs.
The seven tracks on the debut from CRFT are breathtakingly beautiful, blending jazz, ambient music, and soul into a dreamy cohesive whole. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 3, 2022
